  • Camp­ing gear +an extra tarp
  • rain gear
  • extra work clothes
  • cloth­ing item to get a silkscreen of the work hard stay hard logo/design
  • nights are chilly, bring layers
  • work­boots
  • a towel
  • drag & glam­our! there may be a util­i­tar­ian fash­ion con­test. be pre­pared! wigs! makeup! fash­ion boots!
  • musi­cal instru­ments and other stuff for tal­ent show
  • tools! talk to your team coor­di­na­tors to find out what tools are worth shlepping!
  • per­sonal pro­tec­tive equip­ment to use or share
  • portable sound sys­tems for rock­ing the job sites
  • IDA his­tor­i­cal media (dig­i­tal or ana­logue: video, pho­tos, record­ings of shows)
  • sun­screen and bugspray
  • gloves, con­doms, lube
  • flash­light and backup batteries
  • your per­sonal medication
  • water bot­tle
  • per­sonal time­piece that you can set an alarm on
  • if you like booze and/or snacks, the more you bring to IDA the less town-runs will be necessary!

PS If you’re dri­ving in and you have these things, please bring them!

  • exten­sion cords
  • Hard hats
  • A cord­less drill or screw gun
  • chain­saw
  • func­tional x-mas lights (many)
  • safe and func­tional climb­ing har­nesses and good climb­ing rope
  • med­ical sup­plies, includ­ing ster­ile wound dress­ings, pain man­age­ment med­ica­tions, and epipens.
  • work gloves and other per­sonal pro­tec­tive equipment
